PomPom Scarf, S10412
A scarf that really deserves to be called comfy! Large enough (approx. 69 x 180 cm/27" x 71") to snuggle up and incredibly soft. It is worked in stockinette with three strands of Merino Extrafine 285 Lace in antique pink (antikrosa) and Kid Light in pearl (Perle) in needle size 6/US 10. The small pom poms on the narrow edges add a playful touch, which really underlines the overall clean-cut style. The Pick&Pom tool lets you make the pom poms in no time at all. A very relaxing project, even if you don´t have much knitting experience yet!

Wrap, S10073
Particularly interesting is the construction in three parts: The first and last piece each are triangles knit in garter stitch. The main part in between those triangles is also worked in garter stitch with color changing yarn in pastel colors, though this striped piece is interrupted periodically by a lace patterned row in subtle natural colors. The special construction makes the stripes run diagonally, accentuating the piece. A great accessory worked in warming Merino Extrafine 285 Lace, though the light quality and the color scheme of the yarn adds a touch of spring on colder days.

Crocheted Shawl, S10074
If you like thin yarn and hooks in sizes 2,5 and 3,0 mm, then this light and yet warming shawl worked in Merino Extrafine 285 Lace is perfect for you! Worked in a bright red shade with a floral pattern, it's a great choice for otherwise plain outfits. Thanks to the lace yarn it doesn't add extra weight. Perfect for days when a thick shawl would be too warm, yet some warmth for the neck is needed. A great piece for in-between seasons.

YarnCamp-Shawl, 10019
Thanks to the simple garter stitch construction the YarnCamp-Shawl is a great project for mindless knitting. This was the aim of Tanja Stinbach, who designed the shawl especially for the YarnCamp 2016, a bar-camp for needle crafters. An easy knit that allows you to follow the exciting sessions and the interesting conversations. The original pattern uses 100g Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine Lace 285 but can easily be adapted to a bigger size and different colors. It´s similarity to the "Sundowner Shawl" is not a coincidence: Designer Tanja Steinbach calls the YarnCamp Shawl the "little sister of the Sundowner". Shawl, S10069
A shawl that is worth more than one look, though you will need some knitting experience. It is worked with short rows, wrap and turn stitches and a cable pattern. The half-circle shape (length approx. 200 cm/79 in, width 40 cm/16 in) and the luxurious lace yarn made of 100% extra fine merino wool makes the shawl easy to combine – with classy outfits for the office or an elegant evening dress.

VIVIENNE Hat, S9746
This model shows very beautifully that Lace-Yarn is not just suited for lace-patterns: This simple hat is knitted from Merino Extrafine 285 and is a real eye-catcher due to the soft colors. Instead of a usual cotton ribbon a roll-band is used for this model – something different and so easy to make! An easy-going bonnet without a lot of extras.

Shawl, S9907
If you love the famous Sundowner shawl by Tanja Steinbach then you defenitly won’t get past the Winter-Dream shawl seeing as this is the alternative for the cold and frosty winter season. As it has a half-round shape, it is very comfortable and useful to wear and accentuates the colors of the Marino Extrafine 285 Lace Yarn perfectly. The construction is very simple – most of the time you just knit to the right, though the scarf still possesses some small details that give it that special something. The perfect companion for Autumn and Winter!

Triangular scarf, S9957
This decorative shawl is wonderfully big, light and airy. It is knitted from 4 balls of Merino Extrafine 285 Lace – the finest yarn in the Schachenmayr Merino family! The colors work with each other in a triangular pattern which harmonises nicely with the qraphic pattern throughout the entire shawl. Wether you prefer to use it as a shawl over your shoulders or as a scarf around your neck, this shawl can be variously used and really adds to your style!
