Catania uni ist nach OEKO-TEX Standard I00 Produktklasse I zertifiziert und für die Herstellung von Spielzeug geeignet (geprüft nach EN 71-3:2019).

Die Qualität unserer Produkte hat für uns und unsere Kunden einen hohen Stellenwert. Schachenmayr Catania wird am eigenen Produktionsstandort in Ungarn nach den gültigen und strengen europäischen Richtlinien hergestellt und ist nach OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Produktklasse I zertifiziert. Je intensiver der Hautkontakt eines Produkts und je empfindlicher die Haut, desto strengere humanökologische Anforderungen müssen eingehalten werden. Produktklasse I ist die höchste Stufe und gilt z.B. für Textilien und textile Spielwaren für Babys und Kleinkinder bis zum vollendeten dritten Lebensjahr (z. B. Unterwäsche, Strampler, Bettwäsche, Bettwaren, Stofftiere etc.).

Die Unifarben von Schachenmayr Catania können bei 60 ° C gewaschen werden. Zu niedrige Temperaturen können sogar Ausbluten begünstigen. Daher sollte die Waschtemperatur nicht unter 40 ° C liegen. Für die erste Wäsche empfehlen wir eine Temperatur von 60 ° C und ein nicht bleichendes Waschmittel. Je nach Verwendung, z.B. bei Bekleidung, sollten Modelle danach bei 40 ° C gewaschen werden, da jedes Baumwollgarn durch das Waschen mit der Zeit härter wird. Wie bei allen Textilien können sich auch bei einem Baumwollgarn bei der ersten Wäsche überschüssige Farbpigmente lösen, insbesondere bei stark pigmentierten Farben wie kräftigen Rottönen oder den meisten dunklen Farben. Daher sollte man diese Teile zusammen mit ähnlichen Farben waschen. Schachenmayr Catania Grande 50g 03207 lagune

Catania Grande is twice as thick as classic Catania and can be knit up twice as fast, for twice the knitting pleasure. The combed and mercerized 100% cotton yarn can be worn year-round but is particularly suitable for quick summer knits and home accessories. The beautiful high-sheen cotton is offered in a range of brilliant colors which retain their richness and sheen even after repeated wearing and washing. Important note: in order to prevent bleeding of color, please ensure that you wash your Catania Grande garment at 60°C for the first time. After this, it should be washed according to the 40°C recommendation.
