Thanks to the simple garter stitch construction the YarnCamp-Shawl is a great project for mindless knitting. This was the aim of Tanja Stinbach, who designed the shawl especially for the YarnCamp 2016, a bar-camp for needle crafters. An easy knit that allows you to follow the exciting sessions and the interesting conversations.
The original pattern uses 100g Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine Lace 285 but can easily be adapted to a bigger size and different colors.
It´s similarity to the "Sundowner Shawl" is not a coincidence: Designer Tanja Steinbach calls the YarnCamp Shawl the "little sister of the Sundowner".
