It takes a second glance: the darker stripes differ both in color and because of their special furry look, as they are worked in Alpaca Couture. The construction of this yarn, made from the finest Baby Alpaca and cotton fibers, is in comparison to classic fur yarns more like a mohair yarn, making it lightweight and airy. The combination with the fine and soft yarn Merino Extrafine 120 makes this scarf (size: approx. 13 in. x 5´7"/ 34 cm x 175 cm) a special accessory for every fall and winter outfit. The pattern knits up quickly as it is worked in stockinette in rounds. The scarf has two layers of fabric, like a tube, and keeps out the chill even on very cold days.
