Two different colors? Sure, because on cold days that adds that special something to these sassy mittens worked in the thick and warm Merino Extrafine 40. The basic pattern worked in stockinette with DPNs size 7/US 10.5 is a fast knit - so you can make a pair for the entire family. Even the thumb is easier than you might think: just "park" a few relevant stitches on an extra safety needle. Once the mitten is done, put the stitches back on the working needle and knit the thumb. Instructions include sizes 8 and 9/US M and L.
