With these functional baskets worked in Catania Grande conventional crochet meets Tunisian crochet – and the result is worth it! You begin at the base, working in single crochet stitches in spiral rounds. Then switch to a circular Tunisian crochet hook (Afghan hook), working upward rounds with Tunesian simple stitch and the full stitch. The cable on the hook is necessary since the work is split into two equal parts which are worked separately. For this, the hook is switched from one end of the cable to the other. Don´t worry if you are not yet familiar with this variant of Tunisian crochet – the instructions include all necessary details.
