Slowly but surely summer is coming to an end, and just like every year we have mixed feelings about the season being over. It´s getting colder and darker, the days are shorter, the sun is low in the sky, but – and that´s the good news – we are headed towards SOCKtober with big steps! The month where on 31 days, different sock designs are celebrated worldwide.

Here at REGIA as well!

Starting on October 1, we will present many of our patterns in a new design, in connection with the Knitalong #WorldOfRegiaKAL2021.

Join us and knit a pair of socks (or several pairs) using a REGIA pattern design and REGIA yarn. Each finished pair of socks that you post on your Instagram account during October, linking it to @regia_yarns im Bild with the hashtag #WorldOfRegiaKAL2021, automatically qualifies for taking part in a prize draw this fall. That means: with each pair your chances of winning increase.

But like we said: only socks that are worked with one of our pattern designs and one of our sock yarns are eligible to win. No matter whether you are using the classic REGIA 4-ply, 6-ply or 8-ply, whether you choose Tweed, one of our color yarns or one of the crown yarns. The most important thing is that your pair of socks is finished during the month of October, has the right hashtag and is linked to @regia_yarns.

All REGIA sock patterns can be found at schachenmayr.com, and Ravelry. You can win one of three generous packages with sock yarns in different yarn qualities.

While it will not increase your chance of winning if you are linking your sock projects on Ravelry, we appreciate pretty images of sock projects worked in our yarns and like to contact the knitter in order to show the pictures as an inspiration for others in connection with the sock knitting pattern.

Here is an overview of the most important details:
We are raffling three generous REGIA yarn packages.

Entry period is from October 1, 2021 through October 31, 2021
Entitled to participate are persons worldwide that at the time of participation are at least 18 years old. MEZ staff members and their close relatives are not permitted to participate in the prize draw.  

- Post an image of your finished pair of REGIA socks which were worked with a REGIA pattern on your public Instagram account.
- Use the Hashtag #WorldOfRegiaKAL2021 and include @regia_yarns in the image description.
- Follow @regia_yarns on Instagram.
And that is all you need to do to enter the prize draw!

When and how will the prize draw take place?
At the latest seven work days after the end of the entry period, the winners will be drawn. You can find the detailed conditions of participation here.
