The fine cotton yarn Tahiti in lace weight is now also available in solids, which can be wonderfully combined with the gradients as in our summer sweater RITA. It is knitted bottom up, and when you start with the back piece, you can knit and purl and then start the mosaic pattern piece. Even though you're working slip stitches here, the knit remains airy and light. Because of the fine needle size this sweater is not a fast project, but it is worth the effort.
