For this tapered sweater, Alpaca Cloud is worked with two strands, achieving delicate and harmonious color gradients. Beginning at the bottom edge, you first work in rounds and with accentuated decreases for the tapered fit. Then the front and back pieces are worked separately in rows. The basic stockinette pattern is worked alternately with needle sizes 11 and 4 ( size 11 for right side rows, size 4 for wrong side rows). This creates a nice effect that also helps the sweater to retain its shape.
