This casual cardigan features a pleasing length and a loose fit, resulting from the interesting means of construction. Instead of two front pieces, a long scarf is knit in a textured pattern. This scarf is then laid loosely around the shoulders, to create the shoulder and back neck area and also the right and left fronts. A rectangle closes the area of the back and the sleeves are knit on later, thereby creating the dropped shoulder look. The result is a casual garment for every day, at home or at the office.
